PEST CONTROL EXPERTS

Gimasur: Experts in Veterinary Hygiene

Gimasur Ambiental can provide services of rat control, insect control and disinfection in farms, corrals, and livestock, poultry, and fish farming facilities. For these services, the applicator technicians, who have standardized training and work under the supervision of a technical manager, will use authorized biocides for veterinary hygiene to control pathogens, pests, and vectors that affect or live around animals.

PESTICIDE ACTIVITIES FOR ANIMAL HEALTH USE:

For the Insect Control Service:

Prior to each general application, the Technical Manager will conduct an inspection, which will be documented by the corresponding treatment diagnosis in the document called SITUATION DIAGNOSIS. For this, the following methodology will be followed:

  1. For insect control, we will place pheromone and capture traps, which will determine the structural conditions of the facilities to be inspected in:
  • Proximity to electric motors
  • Sources of humidity
  • Heat sources
  • Areas with the presence of food, organic waste, etc.
  • Passageways
  1. Dismantling of electrical outlets, plates, hatches, inspection chambers, or any pest refuge.

We will also observe the exterior of the establishment: garbage containers, cardboard boxes, fans, false ceilings, floors, etc. The treatments will be carried out by the applicator staff under the guidelines established by the Technical Manager. The result will be reflected in the CERTIFICATE OF SERVICES that specifies the measures and techniques carried out according to and in order of the control methods:

  • PHYSICAL ACTIONS
  • BIOLOGICAL METHODS
  • CHEMICAL METHODS

In the case of applying chemical methods:

  1. We will use monitoring and capture traps (physical measures).
  2. In the case of greater infestation, we will use emulsifiable insecticides or lacquers (depending on the prior diagnosis).

For this, we use insecticide products (Group 3: Type 18)

For the Rat Control Service:

The Technical Manager will conduct an inspection, which will be documented by the corresponding treatment diagnosis in the document called SITUATION DIAGNOSIS. For this, we follow the following methodology:

  1. A visual inspection of the facilities will be carried out, detecting structural, behavioral, or hygienic situations that justify the cause of the problem.
  2. This inspection may be complemented by placing secure bait stations baited with placebo that allow us to identify points in the facility with the presence of rodents. The bait stations for rat control will be placed in all logical rodent pathways, hiding them as much as possible to avoid raising alarm.

Once a species is detected, the service will be provided, replacing placebo with biocide in the affected bait stations. The biocide to be used will depend on the species we are dealing with: Each action, whether general or maintenance, will culminate with the completion, by the Applicator Technician, of a Service Certificate, reflecting both the measures taken and corrective measures.

For the Disinfection Service:

To prevent the proliferation of bacterial colonies, we use products with fungicidal/bactericidal action. The Technical Manager will take samples to identify what we are fighting against, which will be defined in the SITUATION DIAGNOSIS.

The applicator staff, following the guidelines of the technical manager, will apply the disinfectant product diluting in the proportion indicated by the manufacturer and complying with the safety and hygiene protocols. Each action will culminate with the completion, by the Applicator Technician, of a Service Certificate, reflecting both the measures taken and corrective measures. For this, we use disinfectant products (Group 1: Type 2).
