Phytosanitary Treatments
Phytosanitary treatments aim to prevent any type of pests that may affect plants and trees, as well as eradicate any diseases or eliminate the nuisances they may cause.
These chemical products have insecticidal, nematicidal, fungicidal, and herbicidal functions. They protect any tree (such as palm trees, pines, elms…), stored products (seeds, grain, nuts…), including soil disinfection (Agrocelhone).
Therefore, it is very important to know the causes and understand how and when phytosanitary treatments should be carried out to prevent an entire crop from being ruined or a tree from dying in a matter of months.
