Water Analysis

Performs all types of water analysis established by Royal Decree RD3/2023, which are:

  • Organoleptic examination: consists of assessing the organoleptic characteristics of water for human consumption based on odor, taste, color, and turbidity.
  • Control analysis: this type of analysis aims to provide the manager and health authority with information on the organoleptic and microbiological quality of water for human consumption, as well as information on the effectiveness of the purification treatment.
  • Complete analysis: aims to provide the manager and health authority with information to determine whether the distributed water for human consumption complies with the parametric values defined in this regulation. For this purpose, the parameters in Annex I of RD 03/2003 and those that the health authority considers appropriate to safeguard the health of the supplied population will be determined.

The most common analyses are:

  • Legionella analysis.
  • Tap water analysis.
  • Potability analysis.
  • Complete well water analysis.
  • Radioactivity.
  • Wastewater.
  • Swimming pool water.
  • Trihalomethanes.

The parameters analyzed include pH, conductivity, odor, color and taste, aluminum, turbidity, chlorine, iron, sulfates, nitrates, E.Coli, oxidizability, etc.

Legionella Control Analysis

Additionally, it performs Legionella control analyses following the criteria of Royal Decree 487/2022 and its modification, Royal Decree RD 614/2024 of July 2, which modifies Royal Decree 487/2022, of June 21, establishing the health requirements for the prevention and control of legionellosis.

Legionellosis is a bacterial disease that affects the lungs and can appear as pneumonia with high fever, or in a non-pneumonic form, manifesting as an acute febrile syndrome with a mild prognosis.
